OUR PARTNERS

What is National Early Years Teacher Day?

National Early Years Teacher Day is an awareness day taking place on 19th of April 2023. Nurseries and other early years settings across the country will celebrate their own Early Years Teachers and nominate their champions for our National Early Years Teacher of the Year Awards.

This is the first year the whole nation celebrates the hard work and commitment of Early Years Teachers. In the coming years, the National Early Years Teacher day will be happening on every third Wednesday of April.

Prizes

Each winner of the National Early Years Teacher of the Year Award will receive a beautiful glass trophy engraved with their name, as well as a certificate recognising their outstanding achievement. In addition, they will receive a £100 Amazon voucher to spend as they please.

Winners will be notified on the 19th April by phone, and their prizes will be arranged within two weeks of notification.

While only four national winners will be selected, we believe that every Early Years Teacher deserves recognition for their hard work and dedication. That’s why every nominee will receive a certificate acknowledging their nomination for the award. We want to celebrate the contributions of all teachers who make a difference in the lives of young children.
